Dallas Cowboys' Cheerlearders will promote the Riviera Maya

From April 18th until the 25th, the Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders visited the Riviera Maya, promoting several activities for the destination. Iberostar Hotels hosted the beautiful visitors during their stay, where they shoot the images that will be displayed in the 2013 calendar. Read more.

The Riviera Maya to Host Inaugural WTTC Americas Summit

The Americas Summit of the World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC) will unite for the first time, travel and tourism leaders from across the Western Hemisphere in Mexico's Riviera Maya next month. From May 16-18, 2012, key industry identities from the public and private sectors, NGOs and the media will convene for a unique networking forum. The event will be the first in a series of WTTC 'Regional Summits,' and will explore commonalities as well as challenges throughout the travel and tourism industry in the Americas while identifying opportunities for growth and collaboration. Mundo Maya 2012

Travel & tourism authorities announced that there will be 250 events taking place in the area for the Mundo Maya 2012 program. This program seeks to bring together the largest number of activities to promote them internationally and attract a greater number of visitors. Xcaret Park will host some of the most emblematic events: the Sacred Mayan Journey (taking place this month) and the Life and Death Traditions Festival (November).
