Riviera Maya's travel and tourism bounces back

Riviera Maya closed their tourist operations with almos 4 million of visitors, while 2011 closed with 3.6 million of tourist. This means an increase of 8%. We successfully finished this year with two world-class events: Winter Beach Riviera Maya 2012 which closed the 2nd of January and the Electro-Music Festival BPM, January 4 to 13.

Travel Weekly honors winners of Readers Choice Awards

The winners of the 10th annual Travel Weekly Readers Choice Awards were honored at a gala awards dinner in New York. Winners were selected in 59 categories and Riviera Maya was recognized for the 8th time as the Best Mexico Destination. The awards are presented to suppliers considered by Travel Weekly readers to have excelled in product and service during the past year.
